May 6, Wednesday … Burger & Beverage … starts at 4pm … only $13.  

A lot of people look forward to this day all week … it means no dinner prep, no cooking, no dishes … instead scrumptious, made to order burgers & a nice cold beverage to go along with it.  50/50 tickets ($5 for a strip of ten) are also on sale & the draw is at 6pm.  What’s not to enjoy!

May 8, Friday … FRIDAY NITE MEAT DRAW … ticket sales start at 5pm.

Individual Meat Draw tickets $5.  Mega Meat Pack tickets $5.   50/50 tickets – $5 for a strip of ten.  Draws start at 6pm.

May 8, FRIDAY NITE DINNER … starts at 5pm

It’s Friday nite – time to wind down the week, catch up with some friends, have a drink or two & enjoy the camaraderie with your buddies at the Eagles.  And while you are here, have some dinner.  This time Chef Franca & her busy crew are in the kitchen making Pork Cutlets, Mashed Potatoes & Vegies for dinner.   Sounds yummy!  Cost $12 for Members, $15 for Non-Members.  Please call the Lounge 250-287-4990  to get your name onto the dinner list.

Once again, the week flew by & if it’s entertainment you are looking for … your problem is solved!  Stop in at the Eagles for a fun-filled afternoon of music & dancing & time well spent with friends you know.  Friendly bar service is available & if the kitchen is open, the usual Pub Fare – Wings & Things, will be served.  Food order sheets are on the tables… cash only please.  And 50/50 tickets will be sold ($5 for a strip of ten) … draw happens at 6pm.

May 10, Sunday … Mother’s Day Breakfast … 9 till 11am.

Mothers are served at no charge & everyone else is by donation.  The full breakfast buffet will have items for everyone to savour.  Moms get a flower & there are 2 gift baskets being raffled.  Tickets are $2 each or 3 tickets for $5.

May 22, Friday Nite Dinner … 5pm … Join us for a delicious dinner!!  The Aerie men are in the kitchen!  It’s Baby Back Ribs, Homemade Baked Beans & a Baked Potato with your choice of toppings.  Members pay $15, Non-members pay $18.  Tickets will be available in the Lounge for advance purchase.  Proceeds to benefit the John Howard Society KidStart program.

RECOVERED PROGRAM BIKE SALE – EAGLE’S PARKING LOT

This happens the on the ‘LAST SUNDAY of every month in the spring / summer / early fall’ from 9am until 12 noon.  Big Al is there most Wednesdays … perhaps email him to confirm the time … normal time is noon until 4pm.

Reconditioned bikes, some wheelchairs, 3 & 4 wheel scooters.

All Units are CLEAN, INSPECTED & TESTED.

A friendly message from the LA Secretary, Marilyn Lewis:  “All Ladies Auxiliary Membership Dues are $40 & are payable by May 31, 2026.  They can be left at the Eagles, e-transferred or mailed to 2523 Rainbow Road, Campbell River, B.C. V9W 4W1  We would like to get as many dues paid before the Grand Aerie starts sending out notices, for which we are billed.”

“Also, anyone paying their dues or writing ANY CHEQUES to the LA, the cheques must be made out the following way or the BANK will not accept them. They must be made out to Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #3097. Eric Hippolt, the Aerie Secretary, suggests that Aerie Membership may be paid at the Bar, where there is a Members List with the amount owing for each Aerie Member.  You may also enclose your payment (cash or cheque) into an envelope, along with your name & the amount paid & drop it thru’ the mail slot in Erich’s office.  The Aerie Membership dues are the same as last year so please check your 2025 membership card to indicate the amount owing.

LADIES AUXILIARY NEW MEMBER PROPOSAL … Ladies, if you are proposing a new member to our Auxiliary, please note:

  • Your attendance at the LA meeting is mandatory when your application proposal for a new member is made.
  • Your attendance is also mandatory when the new member is initiated.
  • And it is your responsibility to contact the applicant regarding their initiation.
