GOOD DAY BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!
Sunday, February 23 … Here I am again, with my second attempt at producing the ‘Eagle’s Weekly Newsletter’. There is quite a lot to learn & the Mailchimp program is a bit overwhelming with all the options that are available to use. Thank you to Franco for all his patience with the many questions I swamp him with. Last week went well … until I pushed the ‘send’ button only to be told by the program that I had done something wrong. Hopefully this mail-out will be smoother.

A huge shout out to the CAMPBELL RIVER FOE 3097 EAGLE RIDERS.
They took over the local poker run in 2016 & they ran continuously with the exception of the 2020 & 2021 pandemic shutdown. Even in those two years they ran very low-key events & still managed to donate a reduced amount. The totals for each year are allocated to various charities. Last year (2024) they gave $2,000 to our local Hospital Foundation, $2,000 to SAR Comox and $2,000 to SARS Campbell River. Well done Eagle Rider Members!!
2016 $4,500.00
2017 $4,600.00
2018 $6,000.00
2019 $6,000.00
2020 $ 580.00
2021 $1,410.00
2022 $4,884.00
2023 $6,000.00
2024 $6,000.00
Total $40,774.00

Thank you to Sister Barbara for setting the record straight regarding the Aerie & LA meetings. They happen on the second & fourth Tuesday of every month. Apparently the gavel drops at different times for each meeting.
The Ladies Auxiliary meeting 7pm. The Aerie meeting starts at 7:30pm.
When you attend a meeting you get to know firsthand, what is happening within the club & you also get a chance to voice your opinion. It’s a win-win.
